Commemorate New Orleans’
Tricentennial
NEW ORLEANS – On Sunday, March 18, 2018, Mayor
Mitch Landrieu, First Lady Cheryl Landrieu and the 2018 NOLA Foundation will
host His Serene Highness Prince Albert II, Sovereign Prince of Monaco to celebrate historic ties between New
Orleans and Monaco as part of New Orleans’ Tricentennial. The Principality of
Monaco represents the first official State visit to commemorate New Orleans’
Tricentennial.

New Orleans and Principality of Monaco share cultural connections that date
back to our city’s founding,” Mayor Landrieu said. “It is a privilege to
welcome HSH Prince
Albert II, Sovereign Prince of Monaco to New
Orleans to celebrate the 300th anniversary of New Orleans’ founding
along with the Prince’s historic family ties to our great city. We continue to
enjoy remarkable cultural and economic partnerships with the Principality of Monaco.”
