NOPD Identifies Suspect in Fifth District Homicide
NEW ORLEANS - The NOPD is
searching for a suspect in a Fifth District homicide.
An arrest
warrant has been issued for Brad Smothers (B/M DOB: 3/16/1993) in connection
with a fatal shooting that occurred in the 2300 block of Caffin Avenue on
February 11, 2018.
On that night, a
male victim, later identified as 33-year-old Aaron Anderson, was found lying in the street suffering
from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported
to University Medical Center where he died on February 15, 2018 as a result of
his injuries.
