NOPD Searches for Suspect Wanted in Attempted Robbery Incident
NEW ORLEANS – The
NOPD is searching for a suspect who is wanted for his involvement in an
attempted armed robbery incident in the Eighth District.
The incident happened on Saturday, December 9, 2017. The
victim told police he was accessing the ATM machine near the intersection of
Iberville and Royal Streets at about 4:36 p.m. The suspect approached the
victim and placed an unknown object against the left side of his body and demanded
the victim’s money.
The suspect fled the scene on foot heading toward Canal
Street.
