NOPD Searching for Subject in Sixth District Armed Robbery


NEW ORLEANS - The NOPD is searching for a subject in connection with a Sixth District armed robbery.


The subject is wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on December 29, 2017 around 2:42 p.m. in the 2800 block South Claiborne Avenue.


The subject entered a business took obtained several bottles of beauty supplies.


As the subject then attempted to leave the store without paying, the manager approached the subject.


As the manager approached the subject, he told the manager, "I got a gun."


The subject then fled the location.


The same subject is also wanted in connection with a separate shoplifting incident in the Sixth District.


The subject is observed wearing the same red/maroon beanie in both incidents and has long facial hair on his chin.
