Suspect Wanted in Home Invasion in Third District
NEW ORLEANS – The
NOPD is seeking assistance from the public with locating Wayman Williams (DOB:
12/14/1987) who is wanted for his involvement in a home invasion incident in
the Third District.
The incident happened on Thursday, (Nov. 23). Third District
officers received a signal of an aggravated burglary in the 4100 block of
Pauger Street. Upon arrival the reporting victim told police she woke up to Williams
yelling through her side door about the whereabouts of his car keys and
handgun.
The perpetrator kicked the side-door in and made his way
into the residence. The subject armed himself with a knife and threatened to
kill the victim’s mother before fleeing the scene in a white Ford Crown
Victoria.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the
perpetrator in this incident is asked to notify any Third District detective at
