NOPD Searching for
Vehicles Reported Stolen from First District
NEW ORLEANS – The
NOPD is seeking information to assist in locating three vehicles reported as
stolen from locations within the First District in respective incidents.
A gold 2007 Chevrolet
Silverado bearing Louisiana license plate #YQP639 was reported as having
been stolen from the intersection of North Dorgenois Street and Orleans Avenue
on June 23, 2017. The victim last saw his vehicle parked at the intersection on
June 23 at about 10 p.m. When the victim returned to the location on June 24 at
about 12:15 a.m., he discovered the vehicle was missing.
A gray 2005 Toyota
Sienna bearing Louisiana license plate #WPK935 was reported as having been
stolen from the 3400 block of Tulane Avenue on June 23, 2017. The victim last
saw her vehicle parked in the Goodwill parking lot on Thursday, June 22 at 6 p.m.
before leaving on a bike ride. At some point throughout the course of the ride,
she reportedly lost her keys. When she returned to retrieve her vehicle on June
24 at 9 a.m., she discovered the vehicle was missing. The victim confirmed with Goodwill that they
did not have her vehicle towed.
A silver 1996 Honda
Civic bearing Louisiana license plate #544ATW was reported as having been
stolen from the 4000 block of Iberville Street on June 28, 2017. The victim
last saw his vehicle parked in the area on June 26 at about 3:30 p.m. When the
victim returned to that location on June 30 at 5 p.m., he discovered the
vehicle was missing.
Pictures are included of vehicles matching the color, year,
make and model of the vehicles reported stolen in their respective incidents.
