NOPD Looking to Identify, Locate Suspect in Simple Robbery on Elysian Fields Avenue

NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in locating and identifying a subject believed responsible for a simple robbery in the 1600 block of Elysian Fields Avenue on July 12, 2017.

 

At about 5:40 p.m., the victim retrieved cash from the ATM located outside of the Magnolia Gas Station at 1601 Elysian Fields Avenue. The pictured subject then allegedly snatched the cash from the victim’s hand and entered the pictured vehicle before fleeing the scene.

 

The suspect is described as a black male possibly between the ages of 25 and 25 years old with a low to medium haircut and clean shaven face. He is further described as standing about 5’8” to 5’10” in height with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a white sleeveless t-shirt, dark colored pants and black or gray sneakers.

 

The vehicle is described as a blue Ford F-150 step-side truck bearing a Louisiana license plate. A partial read of the plate number shows the digits C5****5.
