Joe W. Brown Rec Center Closed Temporarily

Please be advised that Joe W. Brown Rec Center will be closed for renovations for approximately 4 to 6 weeks beginning March 6, 2017.  During the renovation period scheduled programs inside the Center will be relocated to other NORDC facilities. Please click here for updated program details.

MOVIES IN THE PARK SPRING SEASON

Join us weekly for family-friendly movies at NORDC playgrounds through May 19. The movies begin at sunset, but come early for activities with Fit NOLA @ NORDC. Blankets and picnics are welcome.  No cost and open to the public.

NORDC HIRING OVER 100 CERTIFIED LIFEGUARDS

Spend a fun and rewarding summer working as a lifeguard at one of our 12 outdoor pools. We provide thorough training and salaries start at $11.38 per hour.

NORDC and the Autism Society of Greater New Orleans present an evening full of fun activities for the entire family. Family Game Night provides an opportunity for all children, including those with special needs, to have fun, in a safe and accepting environment.

Open to youth ages 5-14, the season is from March 18 - April 29.    The last day to register is March 18.  All teams are co-ed.

We will have a variety of performances, merchandise, food, and ceremonies to recognize our Honorees.
