Fifty Students Get Early Christmas Present From Fourth District Officers
NEW ORLEANS - Officers from the Fourth District spread some holiday cheer at
Dwight D. Eisenhower Elementary School this morning (Dec. 14), as they handed out toys
and games to more than 50 students in pre-K, kindergarten and first grade. The
students were the recipients of items collected during the Fourth District’s
annual toy drive.

The event is one of several holiday events happening throughout the month of December to bring together officers and the community
they serve. This past weekend, the Eighth District held a second line and tree decorating party with students from KIPP McDonogh 15, officers in the Third District hosted a
pancake breakfast and toy giveaway for dozens of students and officers in the Sixth District gave away 80 brand-new bicycles to students at its annual event.
Additional holiday events are planned in the coming days.
