Progress continues on the MoveBR Groom Road project. Today the designing engineering firm, Professional Engineering Consultants Corporation (PEC), conducted a meeting on site with utility providers. During this meeting they viewed locations where it will be necessary to move utilities in order to achieve the improved design of Groom Road.
The survey process is necessary to ensure that when physical construction begins the entities who have infrastructure facilities underground have a good understanding of what they may or will have to relocate when construction begins.
Seen here, there were many groups in attendance such as City of Baker, Entergy, and others.
Progress is happening right now as the city administration works with our partners to move Baker forward, together!
