Baker, Louisiana 20-September-2021: Update regarding Republic Services Recycling Pick Up
Republic Services advises that there have been delays in recycling pick-up due to storm related debris being placed in recycling bins which prevented drivers from being able to pick up those receptacles during regular recycling collection.
Due to the high volume of this occurrence Republic will do a one time only collection of the containers which have been previously filled with storm related debris via the garbage trucks on Tuesday, 21-September-2021 and Wednesday 22-September-2021 in the City of Baker.
If you have mistakenly placed non-recyclable storm debris in your recycle container please place said container curbside on the above stated days for this one time retrieval.
Beginning on Thursday, 23-September-2021 normal recycling service will resume and any non recyclable materials placed in recycling bins will result in the bin being left curbside without being disposed of.
Below are a list of approved recycling materials for reference.
