The federal COVID-19 Community Vaccine Center in Baton Rouge began operations this past Friday, April 16.
The site will operate for eight weeks.
The site is located in the rear parking lot of the Bon Carre Business Center at 7359 Florida Boulevard, Baton Rouge, LA 70806. The site will be open:
- Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays: 8 AM to 6 PM
- Wednesdays, Saturdays: 10 AM to 8 PM
- Sundays: 10 AM to 6 PM

WALK-INS are also accepted, making this a great opportunity for people experiencing homelessness.
There is also a drive-through option.
All people ages 16 and older are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine in Louisiana, though 16- and 17-year-olds may only receive the Pfizer vaccine.
The City of Baton Rouge has partnered with Uber and the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana Foundation to help provide transportation for residents seeking COVID-19 vaccinations, including to this new Bon Carre site.
