Pastor Jackson's Food Giveaway: Doing the Lord's Work One Box At A Time

On April 10, 2021, Pastor Jackson of GreaterWorks Church located on 2024 Main Street, held a food giveaway to help the community and residents of Baker. With the help of GreaterWorks Church members as well as the support of Mayor Waites of the City of Baker, they were able to give away over 1600 boxed meals and over 1600 gallons of milk.

"It's always a privilege to serve people. Our motto is "we get to serve". We definitely believe that people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care," said Pastor Jackson.

The next Food Giveaway will be held on April 24 and all questions should be directed to the GreaterWorks Church main office line at 225-366-7316.
