This past Saturday, April 10, 2021, Unity in the Community was hosted by Shoppers Value Foods on 280 Main Street in Baker, Louisiana. Residents were able to enjoy food and music while meeting with the members of the Baker Police and Fire Departments.
"It was a time of great weather, great food, and great company. Being able to spend time with the community and talking to the citizens of Baker, I can't think of a better way to spend my Saturday," said Mayor Waites.
"It was a success thanks to the Shoppers Value Family, all participating businesses, as well as a special thanks to the Mayor of the City of Baker, Mayor Waites and Mr. Vandy for supporting Unity in the Community," said Store Manager Mr. Lee.
