Join the City of Baker for the opening of the Baker Branch Library's Garden Story Walk on March, 13, 2021 at 10:00 AM.
The Garden Story Walk will be in the park across from the side of the library. There will be 16 Story Stations around the perimeter of the park. Each station is about 25 feet from the one before it. One - two pages of a book will be on each station and stories will be changed each month.
The opening Story for March will be Will Hillenbrand's Spring is Here! In addition, Will Hillenbrand will be at the 10:00 opening to walk with families around the park while reading each station's part of the story.
The stations will be fitted with little cards, telling the children to do something from one station to the next like "quack like a duck". At the last station, they will be given a take home sheet related to the story. Come out to get some exercise, some fresh air, and hear a good story!
Due to COVID-19, properly worn face masks are required. Please observe social distancing and be mindful of others as you walk the Story Garden.
For any questions, please call Angela Lockett at the Baker Branch Library at 225-778-5970.
