Road closed for cross drain repair operations
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 24, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled road closure on KY 1659 (Mccracken Pike) in Woodford County for cross drain repairs on Thursday, Aug. 27.
The closure will be in place on KY 1659 (Mccracken Pike) between mile points 3.0 and 4.5 from 4 p.m. to midnight, weather permitting.
Alternate routes include KY 1685 (Steele Road)
Motorists should use extra caution and use an alternate route during the closure.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
