Road closed for cross drain repair operations
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug 4, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a road closure on KY 1688 (Woodlake Road) in Scott County for emergency cross drain repairs.
KY 1688 (Woodlake Road) at mile point 0.3 near the Franklin County line is currently closed for cross drain repairs.
Alternate routes include KY 3378 (Pea Ridge Road) and KY 1262 (Jones Lane).
Motorists should use extra caution and watch for signage and personnel.
Updates will be provided once available.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
