Road closed for cross drain repair operations
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug 4, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled road closure on KY 1688 (Woodlake Road) in Scott County for cross drain repairs on Thursday, Aug. 6.
The closure will be in place on KY 1688 (Woodlake Road) at mile point 0.3 near the Franklin County line from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., weather permitting.
Alternate routes include KY 3378 (Pea Ridge Road) and KY 1262 (Jones Lane).
Motorists should use extra caution and watch for signage and personnel.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
