TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Daytime Road Closure Scheduled on U.S. 460 in Scott County

Road closed for cross drain repair operations

LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 31, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled road closure on U.S. 460 (Frankfort Road) in Scott County for cross drain repairs on Monday, Aug. 3.

The closure will be in place on U.S. 460 (Frankfort Road) between mile points 7.9 and 8.3 near Canewood Boulevard from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., weather permitting.

Alternate routes include the U.S 460 Bypass and Paynes Depot Road. 

Motorists should use extra caution and watch for signage and personnel while traveling through the work zone.

All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
