TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Pavement Preservation Work Scheduled on U.S. 60 (Winchester Road) in Montgomery County

Alternating lane closures scheduled 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 19, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of alternating lane closures on U.S. 60 (Winchester Road) in Montgomery County for crack sealing operations.

Beginning Monday, July 20, weather permitting, crews will perform overband crack sealing on U.S. 60 (Winchester Road) between mile points 1.7 and 3.4 from approximately one-quarter mile west of Bent Brook Road to Westside Drive.

Alternating lane closures will be in place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Motorists should use extra caution and watch for signage and personnel in the work zone. 

All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
