LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 17, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that KY 33 (Shakertown Road) at mile point 5.0 in Mercer County is currently closed due to a gas line leak.
Motorists should use KY 342 (Dix Dam Road) as an alternate route and avoid the area.
