Nighttime lane closures will occur 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 9, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that a nighttime resurfacing project on U.S. 27X (Main Street) in Jessamine County is scheduled to begin Sunday night, July 12.
Resurfacing operations will take place on U.S. 27X (Main Street) from the southern end of the bypass to KY 29 and KY 30 (mile points 0.38 to 2.1) Lane closures will occur nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. and is expected to last two to five weeks, weather permitting.
Motorists should use extra caution and watch for signage and personnel in the work zone.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
