KY 1010 in Wolfe County to be closed Thursday, June 4

 

JACKSON, Ky.  Drivers who use KY 1010 (Betts Branch Road) south of Hazel Green in Wolfe County will need to find an alternate route on Thursday, June 4. The road will be closed at milepoint 6.0 for installation of a drainage pipe. Work will begin at 7 a.m. and should be completed by 3 p.m. This location is just south of Johnson Fork Road, approximately one mile south of KY 191 at Hazel Green.

No marked detour will be posted. Drivers can use KY 1953, KY 1419, and KY 191 through Daysboro; the Mountain Parkway, KY 205, and KY 191 through Helechawa; or the Mountain Parkway and KY 191 through Stillwater, to bypass the closure.

In case of inclement weather, the closure may be postponed until another suitable date.

Approximately 140 vehicles use this section of KY 1010 each day.
