Flagging operations beginning May 22
LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 19, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of upcoming resurfacing operations on River Road (KY 1541) in Jessamine County.
Resurfacing work will occur during daytime hours beginning Friday, May 22 through Friday, June 5, on River Road (KY 1541) between mile points 1.4 and 4.2. Flagging operations will be used to guide traffic through the work zone.
Motorists should use caution, reduce speed and watch for personnel and equipment in the work zone.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
