Survey work planned April 23
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 21, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled survey work on U.S. 25 (Lexington Road).
Work will take place Thursday, April 23 from mile point 20.8 (near Saratoga Circle) to mile point 25.3 (near Boonesboro Road) between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m., weather permitting.
Crews will be surveying and marking locations for future roadway improvements.
This will be a mobile operation. Traffic will be stopped and released periodically as crews move through the area. Motorists should expect delays.
Motorists are advised to use caution and watch for personnel and equipment in the work zone.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
