TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Lane Closure Scheduled on KY 4 (New Circle Road) in Fayette County

Bridge work planned April 15

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 14, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled lane closure on KY 4 (New Circle Road) in Fayette County for bridge repair work.

The closure will take place on the outer loop near mile point 18.8 on Wednesday, April 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting.

The right lane will be closed during work operations.

Motorists are advised to use caution and watch for signage and personnel in the work area.

All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
