Daytime work planned April 13-17
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 13, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled pavement marking work at intersections in Boyle and Mercer counties. Contractors will update pavement arrows and lane markings at intersections, which requires applying thermoplastic.
Work will take place Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17, weather permitting.
Flagging operations will occur in Boyle County, while a lane closure will be in place in Mercer County. Motorists should expect to be directed through intersections during work at flagging locations.
Work will occur at the following locations:
Boyle County
KY 1915 at mile point 1.9 (KY 3366) 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Mercer County
KY 390 at mile point 13.5 (U.S. 127) 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Motorists are advised to use caution and watch for flaggers, signage, and personnel in the work zone.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
