TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Intermittent Road Closures Scheduled on KY 922 in Scott County

 Work planned April 13-17

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 10, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled intermittent road closures on KY 922 in Scott County for cross drain replacement and ditching operations. This work is part of preparing the roadway for future maintenance and resurfacing.

Closures will occur between mile points 3.1 and 4.0 from U.S. 460 on Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17, weather permitting.

Intermittent closures will take place daily from 9 a.m. to midnight. The roadway will be open during school drop-off and pick-up times.

Motorists should seek alternate routes during closure periods. Alternate routes include U.S. 460, Oxford Road, and U.S. 62 (Cynthiana Road).

Motorists are advised to use caution and watch for signage and personnel in the area.

All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
