TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Lane Closures Scheduled on New Circle Road (KY 4) in Fayette County

Alternating lane closures planned at Richmond Road overpass 

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 24, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled lane closures on New Circle Road (KY 4) in Fayette County for routine pothole repairs.

Work is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, and Thursday, March 26, at mile point 15 on the eastbound outer loop of New Circle Road near the Richmond Road overpass.

On Wednesday, March 25, the right (slow) lane will be closed. On Thursday, March 26, the left (fast) lane will be closed. One lane of traffic will remain open at all times.

Motorists are advised to use caution and watch for signage and personnel in the work zone

All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
