Cave-in-Rock Ferry Is Now Open
PADUCAH, Ky. (Feb. 20, 2026) – The Cave-In-Rock Ferry has reopened following a brief closure due to high winds.
The Cave-In-Rock Ferry connects KY 91 with IL Route 1 across the Ohio River between Crittenden County, KY, and Hardin County, IL.
The ferry's regular operating schedule is from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. The last run from the Illinois side is at 9:40 p.m.; last run from the Kentucky side is at 9:50 p.m.
