All Lanes Reopened on AA Highway (KY 9) Northbound in Campbell County East of Alexandria Pike (U.S. 27)

Update (Feb. 13, 2026) – All lanes are now open. Please drive carefully through the area. 

COVINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 13, 2026) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a traffic alert on the AA Highway (KY 9) in Campbell County. 

Crews are responding to a vehicle fire east of Alexandria Pike (U.S. 27) at the 13 mile marker. As of noon, all northbound lanes are blocked, and one southbound lane is blocked.

The incident was first reported just after 11:30 a.m. The road is expected to reopen in the next 1.5 hours. 

Please avoid the area and find an alternate route to avoid travel delays. KYTC will provide an update once all lanes have reopened.
