TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Rolling Roadblocks on I-64 East and West Beginning Tonight, Feb. 12, in Louisville

KYTC crews to patch potholes

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Feb. 12, 2026)  The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of rolling roadblocks and mobile pothole patching operations on Interstate 64 East and West beginning tonight, Feb. 12, in Louisville.

Pothole patching, a part of moving operations, will take place on I-64 East and West between mile markers 4 and 24 (from downtown Louisville to the Jefferson/Shelby County line) beginning at 11:30 p.m. tonight, Feb. 12, through 5 a.m. Friday, Feb. 13.

Traffic will be temporarily slowed and, at times, stopped to allow crews to safely patch potholes. Motorists should heed rolling roadblock restrictions, maintain safe following distances and use caution when traveling through the work zone.

The date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. For the latest traffic and travel updates across the Commonwealth of Kentucky, visit goky.ky.gov. Information specific to District 5 counties is also available on Facebook and X.
