TRAFFIC ADVISORY: KY 1932 (Chenoweth Lane) Roadway Improvement Project Begins Jan. 20 in Louisville
Construction to continue until Fall 2026
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Jan. 15, 2026) – Highway improvements along part of KY 1932 (Chenoweth Lane) in Louisville will boost safety and mobility for motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists, while also addressing drainage issues along the corridor under a $5.6 million Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) project that starts next week.
Work on the Chenoweth Lane project will take place between U.S. 60 (Shelbyville Road) and U.S. 42 (Brownsboro Road), and is scheduled to begin on or after Tuesday, Jan. 20. Construction is expected to be completed this fall.
Construction activities include roadway modifications, sidewalk and pedestrian crossing improvements, and drainage enhancements designed to reduce flooding and improve overall travel conditions in the area.
