Contract crews to perform guardrail repairs
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Jan. 9, 2026) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of temporary daytime lane closures on Interstate 64 West on Monday, Jan. 12, in Shelby County.
The right lane of I-64 West at mile marker 35 (near KY 53/Mt. Eden Road) will be closed from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 12. The temporary lane closure is necessary for contract crews to perform guardrail repairs. Motorists should heed signage, use caution while traveling through the work zone, and expect delays.
