U.S. 45 Ohio River “Brookport” Bridge Is Open
PADUCAH, Ky. (Jan. 8, 2026) – The Brookport Bridge reopened to traffic at about 10:45 a.m. today, following navigational lighting maintenance and repairs.

PADUCAH, Ky. (Jan. 7, 2026) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is planning a brief daytime closure on the U.S. 45 Ohio River "Brookport" Bridge between Paducah and Brookport, Ill., on Thursday, Jan. 8 to perform maintenance and repairs on navigational lights.
To facilitate the work, the bridge will be blocked between 9 and 11 a.m.
KYTC District 1 will issue an update when the bridge reopens to traffic.
