TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Maintenance Work on Interstate 71 South Wednesday, Dec. 31, in Oldham County

KYTC crews to patch potholes

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Dec. 30, 2025) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of rolling roadblocks and mobile pothole patching operations on Interstate 71 South on Wednesday, Dec. 31, in Oldham County.

Pothole patching, a part of moving operations, will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on I-71 South near mile marker 24 (near KY 712/Jericho Road). Traffic will be temporarily slowed and sometimes stopped to allow crews space to safely patch potholes.

Motorists should heed rolling roadblock restrictions, maintain safe following distances and use caution when traveling through the work zone.

The date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
