TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Lane Closure on I-64 East Saturday, Dec. 20, in Louisville
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Dec. 18, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a lane closure on Interstate 64 East on Saturday, Dec. 20, in Louisville.
As crews near completion of the I-64 bridge replacement project over the middle fork of Beargrass Creek (mile point 11.799), a lane closure is necessary to allow contract crews to shift eastbound traffic onto the newly constructed bridge. The right lane of I-64 East at mile point 11.799 will be closed from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 20.
Drivers should heed signage, use caution, and expect delays while traveling through the work zone.
