KYTC crews to replace cross drains
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Dec. 17, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of the nighttime closure of a section of KY 12 (Flat Creek Road) tonight, Dec. 17, in Franklin County.
KY 12 (Flat Creek Road) will be closed between mile markers 11 and 9 (near Onans Bend Road and Polsgrove Road) from 6:30 p.m. to midnight on Wednesday, Dec. 17. The nighttime closure is necessary for contract crews to replace cross drains along the route. Drivers should expect to follow posted detours along the affected area while work is underway.
Following the replacement of the cross drains, crews will place a layer of dense-grade rock over them until asphalt can be laid. Motorists should use caution when driving over the newly replaced cross drains.
