TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Ramp and Lane Closures on I-264 West on Tuesday, Dec. 9, in Louisville
Contract crews to perform pavement patching
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Dec. 8, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a ramp closure and alternating lane closures on Interstate 264 West on Tuesday, Dec. 9, in Louisville.
Alternating lane closures will occur on I-264 West near mile point 0.3 (at the bridge over KY 3082/Bank Street) and on the I-264 West ramp to I-64 East from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 9. Additionally, the on-ramp from KY 3082/Bank Street to I-264 West will be closed during this time.
The daytime ramp closure and alternating lane closures are necessary for contract crews to perform pavement patching, which must be completed during daytime hours to ensure proper application and durability of the material due to current weather conditions.
Motorists are urged to follow all traffic control measures and exercise caution when traveling through the work zone.
