Bridge Repairs Set to Begin Monday, December 8 on KY 221 in Bell County
MANCHESTER, Ky. (December 1, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists that KY 221 (mile point 4.173) in Bell County will be closed beginning Monday, December 8 and continue through Friday, December 12.
The road closure is required for bridge repair operations.
Detour for passenger cars will be KY 2013 (Jenson Road) while trucks will need to use an alternate route.
Motorists are advised to use caution and reduce their speed during this period while being aware of signage, road crews and other drivers.
The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
