Milling and Paving in North Main in Madisonville Planned for Next Week
Work planned on U.S. 41, U.S. 41A and KY 281
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (November 26, 2025) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to perform a highway maintenance project at the intersection of U.S. 41, U.S. 41A and KY 281 in Madisonville next week.
On Wednesday, December 3, crews will mill pavement and apply temporary striping to KY 281 (Island Ford Road) from Chelsea Drive to Main Street, U.S. 41A from Main Street to Briar Wood Drive and U.S. 41 (North Main Street) from the intersection to Chelsea Drive.
Weather permitting, the roadways will be repaved on Thursday, December 4.
