KY 1749 Wingfield Church Road Set for Temporary Closure in Edmonson County
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (Nov. 21, 2025) – A drainage project will create a temporary closure on KY 1749 Wingfield Church Road in Edmonson County beginning in December. Starting Dec. 1, KY 1749 will close between Arthur Boulevard and Ellis Cole Road (mile point 8.2) for the replacement of a culvert box. The road is expected to reopen by Dec. 12.
Message boards will be put in place to inform motorists of the closure. Motorists should seek an alternate route while the roadway is closed. The work is weather-dependent, so the schedule could change. An updated press release will be sent if the schedule changes.
