TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Lane Closure on I-65 South Beginning Tuesday, Nov. 18, in Bullitt County

Contract crews to repair concrete slabs

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Nov. 14, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a lane closure on Interstate 65 South beginning Tuesday, Nov. 18, in Bullitt County.

The right lane of I-65 South will be closed from mile point 114.7 (near Ky 3219/Ohm Drive) to mile point 113.5 (near the Bullitt County Welcome Center) from 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18, through 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20. All on-ramps and off-ramps will remain open.

The lane closure is necessary for contract crews to repair concrete slabs along the interstate and to allow sufficient curing time, which requires approximately 24 hours to reach adequate strength for traffic. Motorists are urged to follow all traffic control measures, exercise caution in the work zone, and plan ahead for potential delays and increased travel times.

The date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. For the latest traffic and travel updates across the Commonwealth of Kentucky, visit goky.ky.gov. Information specific to District 5 counties is also available on Facebook and X.
