TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Nightly Closures of I-64 West Off-Ramp to U.S. 127 Beginning Monday, Nov. 17, in Franklin County
KYTC crews to replace cross drain
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Nov. 7, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of the nightly closures of the Interstate 64 West off-ramp at Exit 53A (U.S. 127) beginning Monday, Nov. 17, in Franklin County.
The I-64 West off-ramp at Exit 53A to U.S. 127 will be closed nightly from 6 p.m. to midnight beginning Monday, Nov. 17, through Friday, Nov. 21. The nightly ramp closures are necessary for contract crews to replace a cross drain.
Following the replacement of the cross drain, crews will place a layer of dense-grade rock over it until asphalt can be laid. Motorists should use caution when driving over the newly replaced cross drain.
