TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Nightly Closures of KY 12 (Flat Creek Road) Beginning Monday, Nov. 17, in Franklin County
KYTC crews to replace cross drain
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Nov. 7, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of the nightly closures of a section of KY 12 (Flat Creek Road) beginning Monday, Nov. 17, in Franklin County.
KY 12 (Flat Creek Road) will be closed between mile markers 11 and 8 (near Onans Bend Road and Polsgrove Road) nightly from 6 p.m. to midnight beginning Monday, Nov. 17, through Friday, Nov. 21. The nightly closures are necessary for contract crews to replace cross drains along the route. Drivers should expect to follow posted detours along the affected area while work is underway.
Following the replacement of the cross drains, crews will place a layer of dense-grade rock over them until asphalt can be laid. Motorists should use caution when driving over the newly replaced cross drains.
