UPDATE: KY 339/Clinton Road is Now Open in McCracken County Following Tree Removal

PADUCAH, Ky. (Oct. 31, 2025) – KY 339/Clinton Road has reopened between Contest Road and Lovelaceville Florence Station Road in McCracken County after crews completed tree removal work.

PADUCAH, Ky. (Oct. 30, 2025)  A contractor for Jackson Purchase Energy Cooperative (JPEC) is planning a temporary closure along KY 339/Clinton Road from mile point 2.9 to 6.4 in McCracken County on Friday, Oct. 31 for emergency tree removal.

This is between Contest Road and Lovelaceville Florence Station Road.

Crews will be working near mile point 4.9 to remove a tree that poses an immediate risk to power poles, power lines and the traveling public.

The closure will begin at 9 a.m. and end by 1 p.m.

Traffic will be detoured via Contest Road and Lovelaceville Florence Station Road.
