Temporary Closure Planned Nov. 19 on Eastbound U.S. 60/62 Near Mile Point 19.2 in McCracken County
Inspection of railroad bridge near Pugh Road
PADUCAH, Ky. (Nov. 3, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is planning a temporary closure on eastbound U.S. 60/U.S. 62 near mile point 19.2 in McCracken County on Wednesday, Nov. 19.
Crews will be inspecting the railroad overpass bridge near Pugh Road, which will require closing both eastbound lanes.
The closure is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. During this time, eastbound traffic will be reduced to one lane as it approaches the closure and directed to the turnaround to re-enter U.S. 60/62 westbound.
Advanced message boards will be placed on U.S. 60/Irvin Cobb Drive, KY 1954/John Puryear Drive, and U.S. 60-Business/Wayne Sullivan Drive to alert motorists of the closure.
