KYTC crews to replace cross drain
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Oct. 30, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of the closure of a section of KY 2285 (West River Road) beginning on Monday, Nov. 3, in Spencer County.
KY 2285 (West River Road) will be closed from mile point 1.5 (approximately 1.5 miles from the intersection of KY 652/Little Union Road) to mile point 2 beginning on Monday, Nov. 3, at 6 p.m. through Friday, Nov. 7, at 12:00 a.m. Drivers should expect to follow posted detours along the affected area while work is underway.
Following the replacement of the cross drain, crews will place a layer of dense-grade rock over it until asphalt can be laid. Motorists should use caution when driving over the newly replaced cross drain.
