TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Overnight Intermittent Lane and Ramp Closures on I-65 North and South Beginning Sunday, Nov. 2, in Louisville
Contract crews to perform striping operations
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Oct. 30, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of intermittent lane and ramp closures on Interstate 65 North and South beginning Sunday, Nov. 2, in Louisville.
Alternating intermittent lane closures are scheduled on I-65 North and South from mile point 129.5 to mile point 135.0 (from KY 1747/Fern Valley Road to U.S. 150/East Broadway) beginning Sunday, Nov. 2, at 8 p.m. to Monday, Nov. 3, at 5 a.m. Additionally, intermittent closures of the I-65 North on-ramp from KY 61 (South Jackson Street), the I-65 North on-ramp from East St. Catherine Street, and the I-65 South on-ramp from Jackson Street/East Magnolia Avenue are also planned.
The intermittent lane and ramp closures are necessary for contract crews to perform striping operations. Motorists should heed signage, use caution, and expect delays.
