Update – Operations to be rescheduled for the Berea Bypass/KY 956 in Madison County
Repairs for bridge approaches
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 29, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that the work will be rescheduled due to weather for the Berea Bypass/KY 956 in Madison County.
Work will not take place on Thursday, Oct. 30 due to the weather.
Thursday, Oct. 30 – 8 p.m. until 12 a.m. (midnight)
The Berea Bypass/KY 956 – Westbound
- a single lane closure will be in effect at the approach to repair bridge ends and the off side of the bridge at milepoint 0.236
- motorists will be able to pass through the work zone
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties.
